In Zakynthos, the red variety Augoustiatis is cultivated, for which there has been strong commercial interest recently. It is a variety with a strong aromatic identity but with unstable color &amp; moderate body. The white variety Skiadopoulo is also found, but It gives wines with an euoxidic character. Kakotrygis, is a special variety from Corfu, also with a strongly euoxidic character.
